How to fix it

  1. Download and install the Indium mod matching your exact Minecraft and Sodium versions into your mods folder (note: Sodium 0.6.0 and newer include Indium automatically and do not need it).
  2. If you installed Iris using the standalone Iris + Sodium bundle jar, replace it with separate, up-to-date jars of Sodium, Iris, Fabric API, and Indium so all mods can interact properly.
  3. Update Sodium, Iris, and Roughly Enough Items (REI) to the latest builds available for your Minecraft version.
  4. If the crash still happens with Indium installed, check the '-- Item being rendered --' section in your crash report to identify the specific modded item or resource pack with a broken model and update or remove that mod/pack.
