HMCL Crash When Refreshing Game or Forge Download List (0 >= 0)

What it looks like in the log

java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 0 >= 0

How to fix it

  1. Download and upgrade to the latest HMCL 3.x release from the official HMCL website or GitHub repository (HMCL-dev/HMCL), which replaces the buggy HMCL 2.6 Swing download interface.
  2. If your network connection to the Official download source is slow or blocked, open HMCL Settings and switch the Download Source mirror (for example, to BMCLAPI) before opening the game or Forge install tab.
  3. Avoid clicking refresh or switching between download tabs repeatedly while the version list task window is still fetching data.
