HMCL Error: JsonParseException: Json object cannot be null

How to fix it

  1. In HMCL, go to Settings > Download and switch the Download Source from BMCLAPI (or MCBBS) to Official, then retry the installation.
  2. Update HMCL to the latest stable or development version, which includes fixes for handling empty responses from download mirrors.
  3. Check that the modloader you are trying to install (such as LiteLoader or Forge) officially supports your chosen Minecraft version.
