Mixin failuresMatrixStack Underflow Crash (NoSuchElementException in ArrayDeque.getLast)
What the log looks like
java\.util\.NoSuchElementException\s+at (?:java\.base/)?java\.util\.ArrayDeque\.getLast\(ArrayDeque\.java:\d+\)\s+at net\.minecraft\.class_4587\.
java\.util\.NoSuchElementException\s+at (?:java\.base/)?java\.util\.ArrayDeque\.getLast\(ArrayDeque\.java:\d+\)\s+at net\.minecraft\.client\.util\.math\.MatrixStack\.
How to fix it
- Look at the line immediately below class_4587 or MatrixStack in the crash log for a Mixin tag formatted like handler$xxxxxx$modname$ or redirect$xxxxxx$modname$ (for example, $iris$ or $raised$).
- Verify that the mod named in that Mixin tag matches your exact Minecraft version down to the patch number (for example, do not run a 1.18 build of Iris on Minecraft 1.18.1).
- If the mod shown in the stack trace matches your game version, another client mod earlier in the same render pass popped the MatrixStack without pushing it; check recently updated HUD, chat, or controller mods (such as Controlify or Raised) by disabling them first.
- Update or downgrade the offending rendering or HUD mod to a release confirmed compatible with your exact Minecraft version and other installed UI mods.
