Mixin failures3D Skin Layers Crash: Cannot Invoke Mesh.setPosition Because "mesh" Is Null
What the log looks like
Cannot invoke "dev\.tr7zw\.skinlayers\.api\.Mesh\.setPosition\(float, float, float\)" because "mesh" is null
\$skinlayers3d\$renderSkull
How to fix it
- Update the 3D Skin Layers (skinlayers3d) mod—and Sodium if you have it installed—to the latest release for your Minecraft version, as newer builds fix this null mesh check.
- If you cannot update the mod, open config/skinlayers.json in your Minecraft folder (or use Mod Menu on the title screen) and set "enableSkulls" to false to stop 3D Skin Layers from rendering placed heads.
- If the crash persists when logging back into the server area, remove the 3dskinlayers / skinlayers3d .jar file from your mods folder.
