Wrong Minecraft version

Crash Joining World: Cannot read field "field_3911" because "this.field_4015.field_1724" is null

What the log looks like

java\.lang\.NullPointerException: Cannot read field "field_3911" because "this\.field_4015\.field_1724" is null
Cannot read field "field_3911" because "this\.field_4015\.field_1724" is null[\s\S]{0,120}at net\.minecraft\.class_757\.method_3188

How to fix it

  1. Download the latest official release builds of Sodium and Iris Shaders from Modrinth or CurseForge that match your exact Minecraft sub-version (for example, do not use a 1.19.0 Sodium build on 1.19.2, and avoid experimental GitHub Actions builds).
  2. If you have Indium installed alongside Sodium and Iris, update Indium to the exact version built for your installed Sodium release.
  3. If you use ReplayMod on older Minecraft versions (such as 1.18.x), check whether your ReplayMod version requires a compatible Sodium release or update ReplayMod to its latest build.
  4. Temporarily remove crash-catching mods like Not Enough Crashes and inspect `logs/latest.log` above the crash report to reveal the underlying Mixin or rendering error that aborted world loading.
