How to fix it

  1. Check your mods folder for custom or snapshot builds of Sodium (such as sodium-fabric-mc1.16.4-0.1.1-SNAPSHOT.jar or an Immersive Portals fork).
  2. Replace the outdated snapshot or custom fork with the latest official release of Sodium for your exact Minecraft version from Modrinth or CurseForge.
  3. If you are using Immersive Portals on Minecraft 1.16.5, update Immersive Portals to a newer version that supports official Sodium releases instead of using an outdated patched Sodium jar.
