How to fix it

  1. Open your Minecraft instance folder and locate the config/sodium-options.json file.
  2. Open sodium-options.json in a text editor, find the "has_seen_donation_prompt" setting, change its value from false to true, and save the file to bypass the prompt.
  3. Update Sodium and any screen-modifying mods (such as CC: Graphics) to their latest versions for your Minecraft version.
  4. If the crash still occurs when opening Video Settings, check the crash log right below VideoSettingsScreen.children to identify and remove the conflicting mod.
