How to fix it

  1. Check your mods folder for Immersive Portals, Iris Shaders, Indium, or other Sodium addons, as they are the most common triggers for this specific class failure.
  2. Update Immersive Portals, Iris, and Indium to releases that explicitly support your exact version of Sodium (such as Sodium 0.5.x).
  3. If no compatible update exists yet for Immersive Portals on your Minecraft version, either remove Immersive Portals or downgrade Sodium (and Indium/Iris) to the last compatible 0.4.x release.
  4. If you do not have Immersive Portals or Iris installed, open the full crash report file in your crash-reports folder and search for 'ShaderLoader' under the 'Caused by' section to see which mod's mixin config (.mixins.json) caused the failure, then update or remove that mod.
