Mod conflictsContinuity Crash: RenderUtil.getSpriteFinder() is Null
What the log looks like
Cannot invoke "net\.fabricmc\.fabric\.api\.renderer\.v1\.model\.SpriteFinder\.find\(net\.fabricmc\.fabric\.api\.renderer\.v1\.mesh\.QuadView, int\)" because the return value of "me\.pepperbell\.continuity\.client\.util\.RenderUtil\.getSpriteFinder\(\)" is null
at me\.pepperbell\.continuity\.client\.model\.EmissiveBakedModel\$Emissive(?:Block|Item)QuadTransform\.transform
How to fix it
- Update Continuity, Indium, Sodium, and Fabric API to the latest matching versions for your exact Minecraft version.
- If you are playing on Quilt, make sure Quilted Fabric API (QFAPI) is installed and up to date rather than standard Fabric API.
- Disable Continuity's built-in 'Default Emissive Textures' resource pack and any third-party emissive/CTM resource packs in Options -> Resource Packs, then reload to test if a pack is breaking resource initialization.
- Check `latest.log` for errors occurring earlier during resource reload (especially if blocks had missing purple-and-black textures before the crash) and update or remove offending mods such as outdated BetterEnd/BCLib or Roughly Enough Items builds.
- If the crash only happens when searching items in Roughly Enough Items (REI), update REI or temporarily disable Continuity's emissive textures in Continuity's mod config.
