Launcher problemsFabric ModResolutionException: Mod resolution failed!
What it looks like in the log
net.fabricmc.loader.discovery.ModResolutionException: Mod resolution failed!
How to fix it
- Scroll down to the 'Caused by:' line in your crash log to check whether it says 'Failed to open mod JAR' (unreadable or corrupted file) or 'Failed to turn path ... into URL!' (incompatible custom launcher).
- Update Fabric Loader in your launcher profile to a modern version (0.12.0 or newer, latest recommended), which replaces the legacy URL scanner that fails on custom and mobile launchers.
- If the 'Caused by:' line points to a specific mod JAR, delete that file from your mods folder and download a fresh copy from Modrinth or CurseForge.
- If every mod fails to load on a custom client launcher or PojavLauncher, update PojavLauncher and its Java runtime, or switch to a standard launcher such as Prism Launcher or the official Minecraft Launcher.
