Reading the logForge Mod Loading Crash (LoaderExceptionModCrash)
What the log looks like
net\.minecraftforge\.fml\.common\.LoaderException(?:ModCrash)?: Caught exception from
There was a severe problem during mod loading that has caused the game to fail
How to fix it
- Open the crash report and find the 'LoaderExceptionModCrash: Caught exception from <Mod Name>' line to see which mod failed during initialization.
- Read the 'Caused by:' line and the first few 'at ...' stack trace lines directly below it to identify the true error and any other mod packages involved (for example, 'projecte' or 'extrautils2' appearing inside a Forge or texture crash).
- Update the implicated mod(s) and their required library mods to the latest versions built for your exact Minecraft and Forge version.
- Delete or reset the config file for the crashing mod in your instance's 'config' folder in case an invalid ID or setting triggered the startup failure.
- If the crash persists, temporarily remove the implicated mod from the 'mods' folder to confirm the game launches, then search or report the 'Caused by:' error on that mod's issue tracker rather than Forge's.
