Reading the logForge LoadingFailedException: Loading errors encountered
What the log looks like
net\.minecraftforge\.fml\.LoadingFailedException: Loading errors encountered: \[
\([a-z0-9_-]+\) encountered an error during the common_setup event phase
\([a-z0-9_-]+\) has failed to load correctly
How to fix it
- Look at the lines immediately inside 'Loading errors encountered: [ ... ]' to find the failing mod's name and ID in parentheses, plus the underlying error on the line starting with '§7'.
- If the '§7' line shows AbstractMethodError or NoSuchMethodError, update both the named mod and any library mods it depends on (for example, Placebo) so their versions match.
- If this occurs on a dedicated server with a missing Minecraft class or method error, update the failing mod to its latest release for your Minecraft version, or remove it from the server's mods folder if it is client-only.
- If you are running a Forge+Bukkit hybrid server such as Mohist, Arclight, or Magma and a performance mod like ModernFix fails with NoClassDefFoundError, switch to a standard Forge server or disable the conflicting feature in that mod's config file.
