How to fix it

  1. Check your mods folder for any older all-in-one Iris+Sodium bundle jar, remove it, and use separate, up-to-date standalone jars for Sodium and Iris instead.
  2. Check the Indium download page on Modrinth or CurseForge and install the exact Indium build made for your specific Sodium version (do not mix old Sodium builds with newer Indium releases, or vice versa).
  3. Update Sodium, Iris Shaders, and Indium together to the newest available releases for your Minecraft version.
  4. If you have updated to Sodium 0.6.0 or newer (Minecraft 1.21+), delete Indium from your mods folder completely, as Sodium now supports the Fabric Rendering API natively.
