Corrupted filesIris FileAlreadyExistsException When Creating shaderpacks Folder
What it looks like in the log
java.nio.file.FileAlreadyExistsException: /home/loic/.local/share/multimc/instances/<so>/.minecraft/shaderpacks
How to fix it
- Update Iris Shaders to version 1.1.4 or newer, where symbolic link handling for the shaderpacks folder was fixed.
- Open your Minecraft instance folder (.minecraft) and inspect the shaderpacks entry to make sure it is not a broken symlink or an accidental regular file.
- If you must stay on an older version of Iris, delete or move the shaderpacks symbolic link, let Minecraft generate a normal shaderpacks folder, and copy your shader .zip files into it directly.
