Wrong Minecraft versionIris Crash: An Invalid Version of Sodium Is Installed
What the log looks like
java\.lang\.IllegalStateException: An invalid version of Sodium is installed, and the warning screen somehow didn't work
How to fix it
- Open your Minecraft instance's mods folder and locate your current Iris and Sodium .jar files.
- Delete both the Iris and Sodium .jar files so no duplicate or outdated versions remain.
- Download the latest matching versions of both Sodium and Iris Shaders for your exact Minecraft version (for example, 1.19.2 instead of 1.19) and place them in the mods folder.
- If you use Sodium add-ons such as Indium, Sodium Extra, or Continuity, update those mods as well so they match your new Sodium release, then relaunch the game.
