How to fix it

  1. Update Iris Shaders in your mods folder to version 1.4.3 or newer (the latest 1.6.x build for Minecraft 1.19.2 is recommended), which fixes this null-check bug.
  2. Update Sodium to the version required by your updated Iris jar (for example, Iris 1.6.x for 1.19.2 requires Sodium 0.4.10) so both rendering mods stay compatible.
  3. If you cannot update your modpack right away, disable shaders temporarily by pressing the shader toggle key (default K) or setting enableShaders=false in config/iris.properties.
