What it looks like in the log
java.lang.IllegalStateException: Missing sampler Sampler1`, thrown from `GlCommandEncoder.trySetup` (line <so> on this build), reached via `GlRenderPa
How to fix it
- Update Iris Shaders and Sodium to the newest release for Minecraft 26.1+ to get the fix for PBR sampler validation (tracked as Iris issue #3137).
- If no fixed Iris version is available yet, open Options -> Video Settings -> Shader Packs -> Shader Pack Settings and disable PBR, Integrated PBR, Normal Maps, and Specular Maps.
- If the game crashes before you can reach the menu, edit your active shader pack's .txt configuration file inside the shaderpacks folder to turn off PBR features, or switch to a non-PBR shader pack.
