How to fix it

  1. Open your Minecraft `mods` folder and delete both your current `iris` and `sodium` `.jar` files.
  2. Download matching stable releases of both Sodium and Iris from the same platform (either both from Modrinth or both from CurseForge) for your exact Minecraft version.
  3. Alternatively, run the official Iris Universal `.jar` installer, which automatically downloads and pairs compatible versions of Iris and Sodium.
  4. Avoid mixing experimental GitHub Actions builds of Sodium with public release builds of Iris.
