Wrong Minecraft versionNoSuchMethodError: org.lwjgl.opengl.WGL.wglGetCurrentContext() on Startup
What it looks like in the log
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: 'long org.lwjgl.opengl.WGL.wglGetCurrentContext()'`
How to fix it
- In Prism Launcher or MultiMC, right-click your instance, click Edit, and open the Version tab.
- Select LWJGL 3 in the package list and click Change version (or Revert if a custom patch is applied).
- Select LWJGL 3.3.3 (or the default 3.3.x version matched to your Minecraft version) instead of 3.4.x, then launch the game again.
- If you are playing on an unmaintained Minecraft release such as 1.21.5 and still encounter incompatibilities, switch to an actively supported version like 1.21.1 or the latest release, or remove Sodium.
