Corrupted filesCorrupted Mod Config File (NightConfig ParsingException)
What the log looks like
com\.electronwill\.nightconfig\.core\.io\.ParsingException
ConfigLoadingException: Failed loading config file [^\s]+\.toml of type \w+ for modid
How to fix it
- Read the `ConfigLoadingException` line near the top of your crash report to find the exact `.toml` filename (for example, `flywheel-client.toml` or `forge-client.toml`).
- Open your Minecraft instance directory and check the `config` folder (or your world's `serverconfig` folder if it is a `SERVER` type config) for that file.
- Delete the broken `.toml` file—or move it to your desktop if you want to salvage custom settings from it later.
- Launch Minecraft again so the mod or mod loader automatically generates a fresh, working default config file.
- If another config crash appears right after, another `.toml` file was damaged in the same crash; delete each newly reported `.toml` file or clear out any 0 KB files in your `config` folder.
