What it looks like in the log
java.lang.NullPointerException: Tesselating block model
How to fix it
- Check the `-- Block model being tesselated --` section in your crash report to find the `Block:` name (showing which mod owns the block) and the `Block location:` coordinates.
- If you use OptiFine or OptiFabric, remove it or turn off Connected Textures in Options > Video Settings > Quality, as it frequently breaks custom modded models like Botania's floating flowers.
- If you play on Fabric or Quilt with Sodium, install the Indium mod and update Fabric API to the latest version for your Minecraft release so custom multipart models render properly.
- Disable all active resource packs in your options (or remove them from the `resourcepacks` folder before launching) to rule out a broken custom block model or blockstate file.
- Update the mod named in the `Block:` details line, or use a world editor like Amulet to delete the block at the reported `Block location` coordinates if your character crashes immediately on login.
