How to fix it

  1. Remove or disable Immersive Portals from your `mods` folder if it is installed alongside Iris Shaders, as its custom world-rendering redirects frequently break Iris's translucent entity batching.
  2. If you use Physics Mod on Minecraft 1.19.4 with Sodium and Iris, downgrade Physics Mod to version 2.12.3 (or v152 for Physics Mod Pro), or update Physics Mod, Sodium, and Iris together to versions explicitly marked compatible with each other.
  3. Ensure both Sodium and Iris Shaders are updated to the latest matching release pair for your exact Minecraft version rather than mixing older builds.
  4. Launch the game and load a new singleplayer test world to verify the render thread no longer crashes.
