net.minecraft.ReportedException: mouseClicked event handler

What the log looks like

net\.minecraft\.ReportedException:\s*mouseClicked event handler

How to fix it

  1. Open the complete file in your instance's `crash-reports` folder rather than relying on a truncated snippet from `latest.log`.
  2. Find the `Caused by:` section and the `-- Affected screen --` block lower in the report to identify the `Screen name` and the first mod package listed right under `Caused by:`.
  3. Update or remove the mod or loader named at the top of the `Caused by:` stack trace (for example, update NeoForge if clicking a URL in the Mod List screen fails at `ModListScreen$InfoPanel.mouseClicked` with `Player not available`).
  4. If the crash occurs when clicking categories or recipes in a recipe viewer such as Roughly Enough Items (REI), update REI and test without recently added recipe-plugin or compatibility mods.
  5. If you are on macOS using the ATLauncher `.app` bundle and crash when clicking main menu buttons such as Singleplayer, run the standalone `.jar` version of ATLauncher or update the launcher.
