Mod conflictsImmersive Engineering Crash with Sodium / Rubidium (TransformingVertexBuilder VertexBufferWriter)
What it looks like in the log
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: The class blusunrize.immersiveengineering.client.utils.TransformingVertexBuilder does not implement interface Vert
How to fix it
- Update Sodium (on NeoForge) or Embeddium (on Forge) to the latest release for your Minecraft version, as newer releases include a built-in fix for this crash.
- If you are playing a Forge modpack such as All the Mods 8 and have Rubidium installed, delete the Rubidium JAR from your mods folder and install Embeddium instead (alongside Embeddium/Oculus compatible versions if using shaders).
- Update Immersive Engineering to the newest version available for your Minecraft version and mod loader.
- If your game crashes immediately upon loading the world because you are standing next to a Garden Cloche, apply the mod updates above before rejoining, or temporarily remove the rendering optimization mod to load in and break the block.
