Wrong Minecraft versionSodium Crash: NoSuchMethodError SodiumWorldRenderer.onChunkAdded (Bobby Incompatibility)
What the log looks like
java\.lang\.NoSuchMethodError: 'void me\.jellysquid\.mods\.sodium\.client\.render\.SodiumWorldRenderer\.onChunkAdded\(int, int\)'
de\.johni0702\.minecraft\.bobby\.sodium\.SodiumChunkStatusListenerImpl\.onChunkAdded
How to fix it
- Open your Minecraft mods folder and look for the Bobby mod file (for example, bobby-5.0.0.jar).
- Update Bobby to version 5.0.1 or newer from Modrinth or CurseForge, making sure the version matches both your Minecraft version and Sodium 0.5+.
- If you also use Iris Shaders or Indium alongside Sodium 0.5+, verify those are updated to versions built for Sodium 0.5 as well.
- If no updated version of Bobby exists for your specific Minecraft version, either remove Bobby from your mods folder or downgrade Sodium (and Iris/Indium) to a 0.4.x release.
