Wrong Minecraft version

Sodium Crash: NoSuchMethodError in VertexFormatRegistry.get

What it looks like in the log

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: 'net.caffeinemc.mods.sodium.api.vertex.format.VertexFormatDescription net.caffeinemc.mods.sodium.api.vertex.format.Vertex

How to fix it

  1. Check your mods folder for Iris Shaders and update it to the latest version that explicitly supports your installed version of Sodium 0.6.
  2. If you have Indium installed alongside Sodium 0.6 or newer, remove Indium completely, as its features are now built directly into Sodium.
  3. Update any other rendering addons (such as Continuity, Sodium Extra, or Reese's Sodium Options) to versions compatible with Sodium 0.6.
  4. If compatible updates for your shader or rendering addons are not available yet, downgrade Sodium to version 0.5.x (or the exact beta version required by your Iris release).
