How to fix it

  1. Close Minecraft and open your game directory's `config` folder.
  2. Locate and delete the Totem Counter config file (such as `totemcounter.toml` or `totemcounter.json`) so the mod generates a fresh file with valid experimental settings on next launch.
  3. Update the Totem Counter mod (and `ukulib` if required by your version) in your `mods` folder to the latest release for your Minecraft version.
  4. If the crash still occurs when joining servers, remove Totem Counter from your `mods` folder, and remove Not Enough Crashes if installed so partial crashes do not corrupt subsequent world loads.
