How to fix it

  1. If you are launching a Minecraft snapshot (such as 25w31a), remove Sodium from your mods folder, as Sodium does not support snapshot versions.
  2. Open your instance's mods folder and check the target Minecraft version in the filenames of Sodium (for example, +mc1.21.6) and Fabric API.
  3. Download and install versions of Sodium and Fabric API from Modrinth or CurseForge that match your exact Minecraft version.
  4. Alternatively, change your launcher profile's Minecraft version back to the exact release your installed mods were built for (for example, 1.21.6).
