Iris Failed to Create Shader Pipeline: ParseCancellationException

What it looks like in the log

org.antlr.v4.runtime.misc.ParseCancellationException: line <so>:0 no viable alternative at input 'sldakfnge\nvec3'`

How to fix it

  1. Open Options > Video Settings > Shader Packs in-game and update your shaderpack to the latest version from Modrinth or CurseForge, or switch to a known Iris-compatible shaderpack.
  2. Delete the matching '<shaderpack_name>.zip.txt' settings file inside your '.minecraft/shaderpacks/' folder in case a toggled shader option injected broken macro code.
  3. Update Iris (or Oculus) and Sodium (or Embeddium) to the newest release for your Minecraft version so glsl-transformer supports newer shaderpack syntax.
  4. If you are developing or editing the shaderpack yourself, search your '.vsh', '.fsh', and included '.glsl' files for the exact text shown inside the single quotes after 'at input'—note that line numbers apply to the preprocessed file after '#include' directives are expanded.
