Wrong Minecraft version

Crash: NoClassDefFoundError: me/jellysquid/mods/sodium/client/SodiumClientMod

What it looks like in the log

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: me/jellysquid/mods/sodium/client/SodiumClientMod

How to fix it

  1. Open your crash report, locate `Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: me/jellysquid/mods/sodium/client/SodiumClientMod`, and look at the very next `at ...` line below it to identify the incompatible mod (for example, `ca.fxco.moreculling` indicates More Culling).
  2. Update the identified mod—along with any other Sodium add-ons like Continuity, Iris, Sodium Extra, or Reese's Sodium Options—to their latest versions built for Sodium 0.6.0+.
  3. If the incompatible mod does not yet have an update supporting Sodium 0.6.0+, either remove that mod from your `mods` folder or downgrade Sodium back to version 0.5.11.
