Resource packsIris Shaders Crash: IndexOutOfBoundsException: 12 in ExtendedShader
What it looks like in the log
java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: 12
How to fix it
- Close Minecraft, open your instance folder, and edit `config/iris.properties` in a plain text editor.
- Change `enableShaders=true` to `enableShaders=false` (or delete the pack name after `shaderPack=`) and save the file so you can join worlds without crashing.
- Delete the incompatible shader pack (such as LS RenderPearl) from your `shaderpacks` folder and replace it with a shader pack explicitly made for Java Edition Iris.
- Update both Iris and Sodium to the latest release built for your exact Minecraft version before turning shaders back on in Video Settings.
