Iris ShaderCompileException: NumberFormatException For input string ""

What it looks like in the log

java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: ""

How to fix it

  1. If you are a player using a downloaded shader pack, switch to a different shader pack or update the broken pack to a newer release in Options -> Video Settings -> Shader Packs.
  2. If you are editing or developing the shader pack, check the `.vsh` or `.fsh` files corresponding to the program named in the error (for example, `shadow.vsh` when the log mentions `shadow_terrain_cutout`).
  3. Search your modified shader files for `gl_MultiTexCoord.` without an index number and replace it with a numbered attribute such as `gl_MultiTexCoord0.` or `gl_MultiTexCoord1.`
  4. Press `R` in-game (or click Reload in the Shader Packs menu) to recompile the shader and verify the error is gone.
