Iris Shaders Error: Framebuffer Must Have at Least One Color Buffer

What it looks like in the log

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Framebuffer must have at least one color buffer]

How to fix it

  1. Press K in-game to toggle shaders off before entering The End or The Nether, or go to Options -> Video Settings -> Shader Packs and click 'Disable' or pick another pack.
  2. If Minecraft crashes immediately upon loading your world, open `.minecraft/config/iris.properties` (or `oculus.properties`) in a text editor, change `enableShaders=true` to `enableShaders=false`, and save the file.
  3. Update Iris (and Sodium) to the latest release for your Minecraft version, as newer versions include better fallbacks for legacy shaderpacks.
  4. Replace older shaderpacks like Chocapic13 V6 or TME with a newer version or an actively maintained Iris-compatible shaderpack.
