Forge Crash on Main Menu Due to Broken Language Translation (Choice Pattern Incorrect)

How to fix it

Open your Minecraft game directory (`.minecraft`) and open the `options.txt` file in a text editor.
Find the line starting with `lang:` (for example, `lang:ru_ru` or `lang:de_de`) and change it to `lang:en_us`, then save the file so the game can launch without crashing.
Update Minecraft Forge to the latest recommended or latest available build for your Minecraft version, which includes the corrected Crowdin language files.
Once Forge is updated, launch the game and switch your language back to your preferred setting in Options -> Language.
